PRESS RELEASE: Annika Kazembe Selected as Rochester Business Journal 2021 Women of Excellence Honoree

Rochester, N.Y., April 9, 2021 — Tender Loving Family Care, Inc., (TLFC) is proud to announce that Annika Kazembe, MBA, President & Founder of Tender Loving Family Care, Inc., TLFC Child Care and Learning Center, and Co- Founder of TLC Virtual Resiliency has been selected as Rochester Business Journal 2021 Women of Excellence Honoree.

Established in 2018, the Women of Excellence awards recognize high-achieving women for their professional experience, community involvement, leadership and sustained commitment to mentoring. Honorees were selected by a panel of judges comprised of previous Women of Excellence and Circle of Excellence honorees.

With over 20 years in the healthcare industry, Annika has a distinguished history of working in hospitals, assisted living facilities and healthcare administrations. For the past 13 years, Annika has led multiple organizations as CEO, President & Founder . Annika’s story of triumph as an immigrant who persevered through many challenges is truly inspirational. As President & Founder, Annika has led her organization through the COVID-19 pandemic with courage, resiliency and a deep level of pride. She is highly regarded in the Rochester community and also in her home country of Jamaica.

For the last 15 years Annika has spearheaded fundraisers that aim to provide relief to the less fortunate. In her local community, Annika has spearheaded and organized many back-to-school drives, food drives and fundraising activities dedicated to children and seniors. She has also participated in many Alzheimer’s fundraising activities and is a strong advocate for the senior citizens in her local community.
